TCAT LAUNCHES MULTIMEDIA NAVIGATOR FOR TEANA

Kuala Lumpur (6 AUG 2011) - TC AUTO TOOLING Sdn. Bhd (TCAT) has extended its already successful Multimedia Navigator to Nissan Teana. The new system boasts of higher CPU speed (700 Mhz), higher processing RAM (256 MB DDR2 RAM) and a variety of new features.

The new TCAT Multimedia Navigator has FULL IPOD compatibility. It supports most of the IPOD and IPHONE models for high quality music playback. Besides that, it now supports Bluetooth Handsfree, downloadable phonebook & Bluetooth Music playback.

As for the primary function of the device, TCAT’s Multimedia Navigator GPS (GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM) equipment provides easy-to-understand 3D junctions and 2.5D building views for clearer and detailed directions. The constantly updated Speednavi program is displayed through the high resolution 7-inch touch screen LCD WVGA (800x 480) with true colours (16.7M Colours).

As before, the Multimedia Navigator is a built-in unit to the existing dashboard with no dangling wires and no obstruction to driver’s views. Most improtantly, it also displays the Nissan Teana's original Air-Conditioning and Radio / CD playback information.

A host of new features such as Memo and Photo function, Parking line ON/OFF, Short cut PIP in Navi mode, Auto volume control and user defined Start-up screen is also offered in the new system.
